The chart shows 4 different ways that a 2/1 right purl cross cable can be charted using the StitchMastery Knitting Font Collection. The two examples on the left are both created using a single symbol, whilst the 2 on the right are created using ‘building block fonts’ in which several symbols that are designed to join together are combined.
The lattice work chart in this post shows one of the cable fonts in action. Each individual font character is the width of the number of stitches involved. In this case a 1/2 RC cable means that 1 stitch is crossed to the Right over 2 stitches.
